During remote play, you can operate the PS4â„¢ system's features using the buttons on your system and the toolbar displayed on the screen.

Select this option to return to the LiveAreaâ„¢ screen.
Just recently bought the C40 controller and I use the PS4 remote play on my PC, since its easier for me. The C40 controller won't work with remote play, and I tried to do some research and the only thing I could find was a reddit post from when the controller first released on how to get around it.
